SUPPORTED CONTACT SERVICE
Building Better Futures in Dudley
Our Supported Contact service helps children and young people to see a parent or secondary caregiver at our accredited contact centre in Central Dudley, West Midlands.
This is to establish or re-establish and maintain meaningful relationships. Staff and volunteers will always be on hand to give support when required.
This is a more informal service than Supervised Contact services which we do not provide.
No evaluations or reports are made by staff and volunteers during or following contact.
Supported contact is used in cases where no safeguarding risks to the child/ren have been identified.
However one of our friendly contact centre supervisors will check, periodically, on how things are going during the supported contact session.
